Ideal Beach Resort

Loved the beach view and the our room. We had one bedroom and one living room. Loved the big bathroom.

My family and I recently stayed at Ideal Beach Resort, and it was a fantastic experience. The resort is kid- and family-friendly, with a safe environment and wonderful accommodations. The meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were all excellent. Highly recommend!

Resort is right at beachfront, picturesque location to sit out and enjoy beach view. We chose sea view villa which has stunning sea view worth every penny. Wide range of delicious food. Garden restaurant is the most attractive. Team Raja ji are courteous, felt pampered. Kudos to Kimi ji for her care at the restaurant in tasting different kinds of food.

A lovely place to relax by the Bay of Bengal or to use as a base for exploring Mahabalipuram, Kancheepuram, Chennai, and Pondicherry. The staff is wonderful - very helpful and friendly. The food is excellent with some Sri Lankan options as well as the usual Indian and Continental dishes. The pool is clean and big enough for some real dimming but also designed to accommodate play. There are still some rough edges left by the long pandemic closure, but the management seems to be making headway in attracting local customers to replace the foreign tourists who used to be their main clients. If you’re okay with a few small problems - some outstanding repairs, some refurbishment required- it’s a super place to relax with friends, colleagues and family by the Bay.
